In 2007, through in-depth investigation on the development trend of bioenergy both in China and abroad, ENN set a new strategy to develop the world leading technology in bioenergy. In order to integrate bioenergy into ENN’s CO2 recycling business, ENN Bioenergy will focus on the cultivation of microorganisms with high oil content, which will effectively and efficiently absorb CO2 and generate new green energy via ultra-high-speed photosynthesis. Recently, it has made breakthrough in core technology development and process flow. Meanwhile, in order to further enhance its innovation capability and accelerate R&D, ENN Bioenergy has built an outstanding R&D and engineering application team collaborated with top universities and institutes in China, and is strengthening technical communication and cooperation with experts from USA, Germany, Spain, Australia, etc.

The development of the bioenergy industry will make great contributions to reduce the CO2 emissions in the atmosphere and ensure the ecological balance.
