ENN Energy Chemical is devoted to the production and conversion of coal-based clean energy. Relying on the rich coal reserves in China, it focuses on the development of new alternative energy mainly in the field of clean alcohol-ether fuels and chemical products with advanced coal chemical technologies, so as to accelerate the conversion from traditional energy to clean energy. At present, relying on clean coal technology, ENN Energy Chemical has formed a production pattern with strong cost competitiveness based on resources such as coal, coalbed methane (CBM), and coke oven gas (COG). The DME project Phase I with annual capacity of 600,000t methanol/40,000t DME in Ordos (Inner Mongolia) is under construction, which will be put into production at the end of 2008; the COG to methanol project has been carried out on schedule, and the DME projects in East and South China are under preparation.
